A 200 beds Cardiac and 100 beds psychiatric hospital are annexed to a 700 beds General Teaching Hospital to be accommodated, after rehabilitation, into an existing skeleton envelope.

Diagnostic and Treatment departments comprise operation suite of 16 major operation theaters together with medical services for anesthesia, recovery, ICUs, as well as Catheterization and Endoscopy.

It also includes Outpatient department consultation, clinics Laboratories, Radio diagnosis and therapy Rehabilitation and Pharmacy.

Added to that educational facilities (medical library, lecture halls, seminar rooms and museum), Administration department - including medical records - as well as Medical services (CSSD and central plant for medical gases) and Technical services ( power generation, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, water storage. warehouse for medical and non medical storages and engineering workshops) The project include within hospital premises - accommodation for medical and nursing staff necessary for the proper functioning of the medical and service facilities.
